Yasuaki Inoue recently submitted his PhD thesis under the supervision of Professor Warren Batchelor and Dr. Leonie van’t Hag.

He obtained his master’s degree from Division of Forest and Biomaterials Science, Graduate School of Agriculture, Kyoto University in 2012. With 10 years experience in the chemical industry in France and Japan, he joined BioPRIA as PhD student in April 2022. His research focuses on developing novel packaging materials comprising nanocellulose and lignin.
