Research topic: Oil/water separation using cellulose hydrogel membranes
Zhiyong completed his Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chemical Engineering in 2013, beginning his PhD at BioPRIA in 2014. Zhiyong’s research forms part of BAMI Project 3: Engineering specific barriers with coated paper, focusing on the development of a nanocellulose coating for reverse osmosis membrane. Zhiyong is working under the supervision of Dr Warren Batchelor.
