Smriti received her master’s degree in food engineering and Bioprocess technology at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand in 2017. Her research work is focused on the extraction of plant proteins and investigation of the role of molecular and higher structure of the globulin proteins on their gelation behaviour and anisotropic structure development on high moisture extrusion. Smriti works under the supervision of A/Prof. Sushil Dhittal, Leonie van’t Hag and A/Prof. Victoria Haritos.
