Employment: Monash University Affiliate Researcher working on prediction of material property using machine learning techniques.
Pallabi graduated from the University of Calcutta with Bachelor degree in textile engineering. She then completed her Master’s degree in Fibre Science and Textile Engineering from Institute of Chemical Technology in India. Before commencing her PhD, she worked as a Process Engineer in a polypropylene extrusion plant for more than 3 years. Pallabi was working on PALS project 1: Lignin as a building block for value chemicals or polymers, under supervision of A/Prof Kei Saito, Prof. Gil Garnier and Prof. Florent Allais.
