Leo completed his Bachelor degree in Chemistry-Biochemistry at Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia, where he also received a Master degree in Biochemistry. In 2016, he completed Erasmus Mundus in Quality in Analytical Laboratories (EMQAL) master program studying at Universities of Bergen and Barcelona, respectively.
Leo was awarded a Doctoral degree for his PhD thesis on “Application of multivariate statistical analysis and machine learning on the signals recorded in analytical chemistry in the metabolomic studies of natural products“. This project was part of PALS Research Hub, and supervised by Professor Brett Paull from the Australian Centre for Research on Separation Science (ACROSS), University of Tasmania. Leo is currently employed as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Tasmania.
