Keynote session-European Polymer Federation Conference
A/Prof. Simon Corrie recently attended the European Polymer Federation (EPF2025) Conference in Groningen, The Netherlands, where he presented his team’s cutting-edge work on polymer/silica hybrids for real-time in vivo ultrasound imaging.
The conference featured outstanding plenary and keynote sessions showcasing the breadth of polymer research — from ultrasound-responsive DNA origami and single-chain polymer nanoparticles to polymeric nano-motors and optical monitoring of polymer failure mechanisms.
A/Prof. Corrie also had the opportunity to meet Prof. Ben Feringa, Nobel Laureate from the University of Groningen, following his plenary on polymeric nano-motor assemblies — a highlight of the event.
