We are now accepting abstracts for the 2025 Symposium on Biomass-based Advanced Materials, taking place on 11-12 March 2025 at Monash University.
The SBAM2025 is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in the field of biomass and renewable materials. This event brings together industry leaders and innovators from Southeast Asia and Australia, providing a unique platform to present your latest research, technological developments, and applications.
Special Topics for 2025
We are particularly interested in abstract submissions in the following focus areas:
- Sustainable Biomass Supply Chains/Bioresource management: Focusing on the development and optimization of sustainable supply chains for biomass feedstocks, ensuring efficiency and minimal environmental impact.
- Innovative Biomass Production Technologies: Exploring cutting-edge methods for converting biomass into advanced materials (for example nanocellulose, nano lignin, etc).
- Advanced Applications of Biomass Materials: Showcasing the latest uses of biomass in various industries, such as health and environmental, agricultural, nano/composite, energy, packaging, paint, and coatings.

The deadline to submit abstracts is 27th of January. Please submit your abstract (300 words or shorter) using the provided Template via the Abstract Submission form.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the conference co-chairs and the Biomass Symposium Research Committees.
