Debjani received her Master degree in Chemistry from University of Calcutta, India. She worked as a senior research executive at the Unilever R&D (India) prior commencing PhD. In 2022, Debjani was awarded a Doctoral degree for her thesis on “Novel applications of hemicellulose from lignocellulose waste“, which was supervised by Prof. Tony Patti and Prof. Gil Garnier. Debjani is currently employed as Product Development Technologist at PZ Cussons.
